Yes! For the past ~10 years we were known as a Cooperative school (which means that parents were expected to "work" at the school every week for set time slots). As you can imagine, this was difficult to maintain with everyone's hectic modern schedules. The school name was never changed even though it stopped being a true Cooperative school many years ago. When the new owners took over, they felt it was time to update the name to more accurately reflect the current school model. Swapping "Cooperative" for "Community" made perfect sense, as the school has been a fixture of the community for close to 39 years. It's still the same "PVCS" you all know and love - same location, same staff, and same core values.
Absolutely! We encourage all prospective parents to schedule a tour so you can get a more intimate look at what makes our school so special. It's always great if you can bring your kiddo(s) along to the tour as well.
Please email us and we will gladly send you the most up-to-date tuition list.
Our programs often fill up quickly and we are usually running waitlists. Please email us to learn if we have space for you child based on their age.
We are open Monday through Friday and offer the option of 2 to 5 days per week. Many parents will start their younger kids out in 2-3 days per week and then adjust the days up as they become more comfortable with us. Note: the Pre-K program is always 5 days per week.
At this time, we do not have the capacity to add an infant program.
Generally yes, although it might make your pickup/drop off schedule pretty hard to manage :)
Yes! The first child pays full tuition, while each additional sibling receives a discount (applied to lowest tuitions first).
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide daily lunch service to any students. Pizza lunch is provided every Monday for our Full Day students, and Morning students can add this as an option.
Our school is completely NUT FREE to make sure it is safe for our students and staff that may have a nut allergy. Students with certain food insensitivities (such as dairy or gluten) can be served an alternative snack. We are able to store and administer EpiPens with a proper prescription and medicine information form on file.
Yes, our Summer Camp is held during all of June and July. We are open normal days/hours for our full time families, and also offer morning summer camp for these months.
*** Days marked as "SCHOOL CLOSED" apply to both programs. ***
Other schedule differences are noted as "Morning Program" or "Full Day".
