First Day of Preschool is August 12th...only a couple spaces left!
In the blink of an eye, your "baby" is now a one year old who's walking and getting into just about everything! While it may be hard for us to be away from them, preschool is an important time for them to learn independence and spend time with other tiny humans. That's why we've designed our toddler classroom to be a safe and nurturing space for your little one to grow and explore the world. The foundation to many important childhood skills are formed here, such as following a daily routine/schedule, communicating verbally and non-verbally, fine/gross motor skills, sitting and eating independently, handwashing, and following directions. Maybe most importantly, they learn about themselves and their peers through both open ended and directed play. Their day begins with outdoor time to get the wiggles out, followed by indoor story time, messy play, arts & crafts, sensory table, and plenty of free play time.
Ready to explore and learn about the world!
Miss Tricia is a proud Pittsburgh native (go Steelers!), but has called AZ home for many years. She attended West Virginia Uni. and obtained a degree in Journalism & Marketing. She has experience in multiple classrooms and now her second year as the lead toddler teacher. She's a fantastic mom to two teenage daughters, one of which you'll often see here playing with the toddlers in the classroom.
Miss Ruby is an area native and graduated from Horizon High School where she spent all four years in show choir. She is a very talented singer and performer, and even has a band with her entire family. She's been babysitting her entire life, and even worked as a princess for children's parties.
Miss Emma is an AZ native and attended the nearby Jones-Gordon school. She now attends PV Community College and is working towards a degree in elementary education with a focus on special ed. She has a lot of experience babysitting and nannying, and has been a staff member at PVCS for the past 5 years.
