Toddler's preschool
2-5 day options for students that are one and walking by September 1st
In the blink of an eye, your "baby" is now a one year old who's walking and getting into just about everything! While it may be hard for us to be away from them, preschool is an important time for them to learn independence and spend time with other tiny humans. That's why we've designed our toddler classroom to be a safe and nurturing space for your little one to grow and explore the world. The foundation to many important childhood skills are formed here, such as following a daily routine/schedule, communicating verbally and non-verbally, fine/gross motor skills, sitting and eating independently, handwashing, and following directions. Maybe most importantly, they learn about themselves and their peers through both open ended and directed play. Their day begins with outdoor time to get the wiggles out, followed by indoor story time, messy play, arts & crafts, sensory table, and plenty of free play time.
- Max 9 students per two teachers
- Miss Tricia reinforces verbal cues with sign language, so don't be surprised if your little one signs "eat", "more", "help", "please", and "thank you" when they are at home :)
- Our dedicated smaller playground is right-sized for our newly mobile students
- Toddlers have snack, lunch, and nap in the same classroom so it's a very familiar space for them
- Keep informed on your child's day via real time updates and photos on the Brightwheel app including check in/out, diaper changes, snack, lunch, nap times, and overall wellness.

Miss Tricia is a proud Pittsburgh native (go Steelers!), but has called AZ home for many years. She attended West Virginia Uni. and obtained a degree in Journalism & Marketing. She has experience in multiple classrooms and now her third year as the lead toddler teacher. She's a fantastic mom to two teenage daughters, one of which you'll often see here playing with the toddlers in the classroom.

Miss Mia is an AZ native with a long history of working with children. For several years she was an in home caregiver children with special needs including ASD, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. Prior to joining us she was a lead teacher of infants - two year olds at a different school. The littles love the youthful and fun energy that she brings to the classroom!
